General Conditions

Registration and payment
Please use the online registration form to register for the congress and all related events. Upon receipt of the registration, an acknowledgement of registration will be sent to the participant by e-mail. A confirmation containing the participant´s payment details, balance and reservations will be sent to the participant shortly afterwards by mail. Should payment be received after 16 October 2007, you will receive your confirmation at the congress counter in Paris. Please bring a copy of your bank remittance with you.

Cancellations of congress participation
Notice of cancellation should be sent in writing only to the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH. In case of cancellation by 6 July 2007 the payment will be refunded, minus a handling charge of EUR 100. No refund will be made after 6 July 2007.

Changes to the congress programme
In the event of cancellations by speakers or other changes in the main congress programme, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

Liability
CPO HANSER SERVICE is liable in keeping with diligence required of a prudent businessman, according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Regardless of course in law the liability of CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH shall be limited to damages which are caused with aforethought or by gross negligence. However, this shall not affect the liability of the congress organizer and of the persons or organizations responsible for providing means of transport or other services. The participants take part in all excursions and tours at their own risk. Verbal agreement can only be considered as binding when confirmed by CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH in writing.

Place of performance, venue of jurisdiction
Paris shall be the exclusive place of performance and Berlin is the venue of jurisdiction for all parties. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
